Tami Natz and her business partner had been brainstorming business ideas. One day, Tami had an idea to pursue a peer to peer marketplace offering handmade pet supplies, where consumers could buy, search and sell the one-of-a-kind accessories and supplies that all beloved pets deserve. Art of the Pet was born. Tami’s business partner has extensive software knowledge and assisted her in searching for a developer that could help execute her vision. Outcome

Art of the Pet chose the CNXION platform as the developers were able to create an online marketplace for handmade pet products that was flexible and could quickly expand with market needs and integrate new features in a timely fashion. In order to validate their idea CNXION deployed an initial waiting list signup page which was successful in proving market viability and generating a list of initial sellers that wanted to use the Art of the Pet marketplace platform. This was achieved using SEO and facebook ads linked with facebook pixel integration to generate site traffic. The waiting list signup page presented visitors with conversion offers and targeted custom overlays to generate leads. The leads were stored in a secure database and the client was sent lead notifications for every new signup created.

After market viability was proved Tami went on to begin development of a complete marketplace solution using CNXION. The platform comprises a highly configurable eCommerce system where sellers set up their shops and manage their own inventory, orders and payments. Customers can search for products using customisable sort and filter options and create an account to receive new offers matching their criteria directly to their inbox. The CNXION platform also provides a secure checkout option and sophisticated reviews feature to assist with self moderation of the marketplace.
